PERSPECTIVES IN PARENTING WEBINAR: How to Foster Your Child's Ability to Manage Anxiety, Adapt and Stay Socially Connected in a Changing World. Part 2
Children and teens today face the challenge of navigating accelerated changes in technology and social norms. They are experiencing more anxiety, as well as less independence and skill in managing challenging situations and social interactions. In many cases, this leads to problems with school attendance and engagement.
Parents and other adults play a critical role in helping kids learn how to handle distress, develop problem-solving skills and form healthy relationships.
In this 2-part webinar series we will share practical strategies to help parents support their children in developing these skills. We will also focus on the importance of addressing AI and tech use and its impact on independent critical thinking, its use for connection and as a source for mental health support.
The webinar is suitable for parents of both elementary and high school aged children.
